Abstract
360° immersion is the most accessible form of immersive technology because it is so operationally similar to using a cell phone to take photos and video. With only a small amount of training, instructors can create immersive real-world visual experiences for students, experiences that, with a bit more work, can become fully interactive and highly engaging. Optimizing the orientation to and workflow through the use of this technology can be further focused and used for online education, where students are immersed through live or pre-recorded course-related experiences containing a variety of interactive content.
