An Application that Interprets the First Ten Numbers and the Vowels of the Colombian Sign Language to Spanish Language

Abstract

Inclusion in the social life, labour, educational and family of people with hearing impairment includes having tools that allow their social interaction. The proposed application allows the interaction of children from early childhood learning letters (vowels), and the first numbers, allowing the translation of sign language to Spanish language, with the help of the technology provided by the Leap Motion sensor, hardware device that detects the movements of fingers and hands without that mediate contacted the same.
