Abstract
The study analyses the differences in business ideas and technology transfer between teaching personnel and non-teaching personnel at the Bulacan State University (BulSU) and industry stakeholders in particular, Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bulacan, Philippines. Mixed method research is used to obtain the output of the study. The results show significant disparities that result from different resources, priorities, and routes of contact between industry and academia. Consequently, inadequacies in technology transfer procedures and overlooked joint venture prospects have been detected. It is advised that focused interventions and legislative measures be taken in the future to address these discrepancies and support improved information sharing, more robust industry-academic collaborations, and a more vibrant economic environment in Bulacan.
