Abstract
This study reflects on the various uses of the image in the creative and autobiographical process of individuals on Instagram. Through a bibliographical review and case study analysis, the work analyzes the practices of users who develop image montages and edits in the videos and photos they publish about themselves on that social network. In this way, therefore, we observe the degrees of fictionalization of the self that they exercise on the platform, forging narratives as an instrument of social interaction and building individual and collective imagination.
