Nigerian Media, Technology, and the New World Order

Abstract

The media in the last few years have undergone lots of changes in terms of technology, access, and attitude of consumers. This paper in looking at how the changes have affected the media ecology takes a critical look at what has happened and how technology has changed the face of media in Nigeria and the world in general. This paper considers this development and how the media has been responding and making adjustments to the changes. The paper considers how the media in Nigeria and the other parts of the developing world are going to cope with the rapidly changing world of technology and media landscape. This is reflected in the theories of media and how it affects their world.
