Nostalgia, Privilege and Resistance: Hipster Food in Digital Culture Kathleen LeBesco, Ph.D., is Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. She is author of Revolting Bodies: The Struggle to Redefine Fat Identity, co-author of Culinary Capital, and co-editor of The Bloomsbury Handbook of Food and Popular Culture, Bodies Out of Bounds: Fatness and Transgression, Edible Ideologies: Representing Food and Meaning, and The Drag King Anthology. Her work concerns food and ideology, fat activism, disability and representation, working-class identity, and queer politics.
