Abstract
Generally, women in the corporate world aren’t yet on the edge of equal opportunity branding as leaders compared to men. Effective leaders have specific traits in common, they possess an extinguishable passion for successfully implementing the vision of the company in a bigger picture. Leaders exude passionate energy that eliminates on others around them. They have an effortless, and clear image that is projected to everyone because they are concordant with their work. Placing women in a leadership role is an issue of value gender balance and diversity. In a fast-pacing and dynamic corporate environment, leaders tend to skillfully use their intuition in decision-making. Though intuition has a credibility problem, both men and women leaders utilize in managing problems in the organizations. On the other hand, instinctive leadership is using intuitive intelligence in decision making. The study was conducted with the following objectives: analyze the demographics of women in an executive position; assess the instinctive leadership style of the women executive respondents; and explore the challenges in leadership on the issue of gender equality, diversity and imbalance. The study utilized the triangulation method. The respondents of the study were selected women executives in various corporate organizations in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan. The utilized judgment sampling technique which was drawn from a larger population based on judgment grounded in relevant experiences conveniently available. The outcomes of the research served to bridge the gap between gender differences in leadership and the role of women as transformational leaders.
