Beyond the Set Standard Limits in Context of COVID-9

Abstract

A Set standard means any scale, boundaries, buildings, or any kind of drawing lines considered a set of rules or in other words a restrictive environment for kids. While dealing with pre-K kids age group 2 and half to 4 and half taught us that they are beyond the set standard limits. During COVID-19 period which is still a threat and we were restricted not to be in person anymore was a great challenge for us and there can be many ahead. We took six months to find set standard rules from where to start and how to start with little ones. Our school is a Pre- k school, lot of challenges were being faced by administration, teachers, and staff. An emotional bond was near to break up, we as teacher were used to for their smiles and hardly could get connected to their spiritual, mental, tummy and toilet needs. We never ever thought to teach them without giving a physical hug, holding their hands when they are in sad emotions, recognize them with their tinny hands temperatures which never could be same as on thermometer. Their smile, love and gestures are not on emotions chart. Their questions never being covered on google. Their liking and disliking can never be challenge in any court. They do what they want to do. We accepted the challenge and started online teaching on trial basis. Amazing results were found, which are introduced in this paper.
