Pre-service English Teachers in Diverse Classrooms : Meeting Needs of Each Student Along with Teaching Acceptance and Tolerance

Abstract

The paper is based on research concerning teacher preparation of the secondary English majors at one of the university in the South. Educators have to ensure that their graduates are prepared for the diversity of students they will encounter and be comfortable modeling and encouraging fairness, equity, and respect in their classrooms.
