Abstract

Universities are the centers of higher academics and research. There is a correlation of excellence with governance. The sustenance of quality higher education is dependent on sustenance of Higher Education Governance Systems (HEGS), i.e. the methodology through which education is imparted and research is carried on. Academic excellence is directly proportional to governance, and is inversely proportional to disorderliness. The optimization of university governance vis-à-vis academic excellence aims to build up intellectual property of the state over the globe by encouraging Public Private Partnerships in the field of science and technology as well as human resource development. In order to achieve this one has to develop academics, the “Education Management Systems,” work culture, and accreditation criteria in the form of capital, technology, technical, and managerial skills for sustenance of quality higher education. Next to analyze the role of FDI and innovation qualitatively for sustenance of quality in higher education by incorporating innovative “Hub and Spoke” spatial model focused with production of quality professionals, quality infrastructure of building, and laboratories by the entrepreneurs. Education governance is much needed for the sustenance of quality higher education and skill development but to build up nations into a clean and model state amalgamated with systems, professionalism enriched with ethics, proven governance, happiness over the globe by developing the intellectual property of the state through qualitative changes in scientific, technical education, and Education Management Systems (EMS) in totality by making it innovative, application, and patent oriented achieving higher education governance systems.
