Influences on English Achievements Caused by Achievement Goal Orientation and Web-based Self-regulated Learning


This study is based on the two scales above, exploring the relationship among achievement goal orientation, web-based self-regulated learning and English achievement, and the mediating role of web-based self-regulated learning between achievement goal orientation and English achievement. We adopt SPSS21.0 statistical software to analyze the quantitative data. Statistical analysis steps are as follows: The main results of this study are as follows: Achievement goal orientation was significantly correlated with web-based self-regulated learning. Achievement goal orientation was significantly correlated with English achievement. It is also found that Web-based self-regulated learning was significantly correlated with English achievement, and it could predict English achievement. At the same time, web-based self-regulated learning had important mediating function between achievement goal orientation and English achievement, moreover, web-based self-regulated learning had a complete mediating function between achievement goal orientation and English achievement, and the web-based self-regulated learning could directly and indirectly predict English achievement.
