Abstract
The aim of this paper is to understand whether Community Base Tourism (CBT) can be considered a tool for peace building in post-conflict areas by analyzing La Ruta Fariana tourism project (Colombia) which was created and it is managed by FARC members who are currently living in territorial spaces for training and reincorporation (ETCR). The article shows that from the community perspective the CBT has a significant role in the reconciliation. Tourism in this region is related with the historical memory of the territory, as an important aspect of this project is to preserve the history lived and told by FARC, and avoid committing the same mistakes from the past.
