Abstract
From improvements in technology to better health, the longevity bonus means the reasons for managing an ageing workforce won’t disappear with Boomers. Implications for employers are numerous, notably, “Up and Out” will no longer be the preferred or successful employee path for strategic businesses. On the plus side, effective intergenerational teams are more productive, innovative and better engaged. Participants will learn how to understand the implications of the longevity dividend in the workplace, recognize unconscious age bias in workplace policy, see the benefits of age diversity in the workplace.
