Environmental Governance: Supply Chain Resilience, Risk Uncertainty, HRM Practice, and Environmental Equity

Abstract

This research investigates the interaction between environmental governance, supply chain resilience, risk uncertainty, HRM practices, and environmental equity. The study speculates that robust environmental governance can support supply chain resilience by managing risk uncertainty through strategic HRM practices, thereby advancing environmental equity. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the research integrates theories from environmental science, supply chain management, risk management, HRM, and social justice. The findings focus on the role of environmental governance in promoting sustainable and equitable supply chains, providing valuable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and scholars. This research contributes to the burgeoning literature on sustainable supply chain management and advocates for further exploration of HRM’s role in environmental governance.
