Factors Affecting Academic Procrastination among Nursing Students

Abstract

Procrastination is a common occurrence in today’s academic environment. The study aims to determine the relationship of procrastination in the academic performance of the nursing students in San Rafael Campus especially in institution-related factors. The study focuses on students’ behaviors that can bring a factor through interaction with the learning environment that may lead to procrastination. Mixed method research was applied to obtain the entire output of the study. Preliminary result shows that students pursue their studies notwithstanding hindrances and difficulties.
