Flipping the World on Its Head: Flipped Classrooms in a Social Science Setting

Abstract

From the beginning nerves to the realization that this could actually happen, this process has set in motion the idea that a flipped classroom to increase student engagement and success is possible. For the most part, instructors think that a flipped classroom is only for the sciences and mathematics. In this study, a flipped classroom model in the social science setting is explored. Results reveal more time to interact on a deeper level with the material presented.
