Abstract
Agritourism is rapidly adopted as an approach to conserve the family farm, to increase revenue, and to teach the public about authentic farming life. However, studies reveal that there is a scarcity of evidence that the environmental impacts of visitors and development of feasible agritourism are considered by farmers, planners, and tourism professionals. This study evaluates the awareness of both farmers and tourists on environmental impact problems among farm owners. It also assesses the types of impacts in farm destinations in the Philippines including management and development strategies addressing the different impact zones.
