Humanities in Young People

Abstract

The Humanities are born to remember, to excite and to be able to move forward. Following its Latin origin, remembering the ancients brings back to our hearts everything that made us feel human at some point. It moves us and makes us aware of our need to feel and appreciate beauty. It enables us to learn from the past and to build a present and a future. This is the knowledge that should be transmitted in Humanities classes through new techniques that bring us closer to the new generations. I present new teaching tools and new approaches to educate critical and prepared citizens for today’s world.
