Índigo People: The New Human Being

Abstract

About 60 years ago a new type of human being was born. He came to change the world. Allways people had their behavior dictated by society. Each human being, at birth, already had their destiny outlined. Depending on his social class, he will study or not, then he gets married. He will have the profession his family determines. He will stay in this marriage and in this profession for the rest of his life. Everything went very well, until people started to be born who didn’t identify with this format. Initially, they were silenced by society. They had to do everything that was planned. But they started to be born more and more. And they weren’t silent. And they started the movement to change the world. And they were fast, very fast. They want freedom. They want to be able to be who they are, without having to respond to any rules established by society. They want to be able to change their profession, and to get married as often as they wish. They want to undertake, put their ideas on the market. They want to change the educational system, instituted so many years ago. And they are succeeding. They are the Indigo. Most of the changes seen in society today are initiated by them. In these 20 years as a therapist treating these people, I have cataloged 23 Indigo characteristics. This paper explains the Indigos, their characteristics, and why the education system urgently needs to change.
