Abstract
My paper focuses on teaching literature to students via writing-to-learn strategies adapted to hybrid or totally online environments. Specifically, I describe electronic journaling prompts and discussion board exchanges as ways to prepare students for formal academic writing on literary themes. I also share strategies for guiding peer reviews and and revision activities to foster deeper learning as well as better writing. Additionally, I provide samples of student writing generated through these strategies.
