Abstract
Cancer treatment has been changing over time. The adoptive measures of hospitals about these treatments are responsive based on architectural solutions. With that, the paper shall assess comparative benchmarking with different hospitals in order to address the changing needs of hospitals serving oncology treatment facilities. Gamma map analysis shall be used to assess the spatial configuration of selected level 3 hospitals to find out what are social and cultural values inside a Cancer treatment facility. An investigation of the statistical values from assessed hospitals and existing cancer treatment plan released by DOH shall be analyzed based on spatial connectivity, socio-cultural values, staff-flow, and patient-flow. The aim of this study is to propose a spatial genotype framework for architects that will design cancer treatment facilities. Designers can use these guidelines as a checklist reference in developing a design that is conducive to all its stakeholders.
