Abstract
This workshop will describe and facilitate participation in a new labyrinth technology called “Mountain 10” that integrates the labyrinth journey with human change dynamics. “Mountain 10” provides a template for reflection and discernment that divides the labyrinth into four terrains of exploration that correspond to the central dimensions of the human change process, namely, awareness, letting go, vision, and realization. The labyrinth design has been used in diverse cultures and spiritual traditions for at least 6,000 years and is an effective tool for deep reflection and centering. Participants will trace the labyrinth path with an openness to their intention or “calling” and respond to questions that facilitate access to inner wisdom. More than 300 participant evaluations of the experience indicate the effectiveness of the technology as an aid to discernment for persons of diverse ages and backgrounds.
