Abstract
One of the salient though unexplored issues about the fragments of Empedocles is “name” and its pertinent features such as naming; name-giving / name-making (including the criterion for being right and correct); and name-complementing that all of them together form a set. Now with regard to the importance and even dominance of “name” in the lingual thoughts of the ancient Greek thinkers, in this paper I explore and examine the name-related set in Empedocles.
