Description

"Design of Public Spaces: Museums and Educational Buildings" Nikita Yaveyn is the Head of Studio 44 Architects, a professor at St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts, an acting member of Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (RAACS), and a member of International Academy of Architecture, Moscow Branch (IAAM). He specializes in designing large public venues and multi-functional centers. The portfolio of "Studio 44" includes such successfully implemented projects as the Ladozhsky Railway Station, the new museum complex of the State Hermitage Museum in the General Staff Building, Boris Eifman Dance Academy, Palace of Schoolchildren (Astana, Kazakhstan), Olympic Park Railway Station in Sochi, and the out-of-town campus of St. Petersburg State University’s Graduate School of Management located on the Mikhailovskaya Dacha estate.
