The Spanish Influenza in the City of Tudela: The Response of a "Rural Town"

Abstract

The city of Tudela was shocked by the “Spanish Influenza” along the years 1918 to 1920. During this period, there were several moments in wich the public health was in serious danger. This paper explores the role of local institutions and the impact of one of the largest epidemics in the contemporary world.
