Abstract
Today’s life without plastic is unimaginable. Plant enthusiasts commonly use plastic as their medium for planting seedlings. This study introduces the arrowroot, a native root crop popularly found in the town of Bustos, Bulacan Philippines which could be a source of starch. This starch is the main ingredient in making bioplastic pots. The experimental method is used to obtain the output of the study. Results show that arrowroot starch could be the main ingredient in making bioplastic as an alternative to plastic pots.
