Women, Money, Power, and Self Care: Creating Financial Breakthroughs

Women face a unique set of challenges and hurdles to overcome financial inequalities. Globally, women only make 77 cents for every dollar men earn and that gap widens substantially for minority women and women with children. Thus, too many women enter retirement into poverty because of systemic economic inequalities. The purpose of this discussion is understand these realities and to propose practical long-term strategies for women to become financially stable, regardless of their income.
