Abstract
This workshop explores the synergies between a disaster risk reduction approach and the Model for Collaborative Evaluations or MCE, emphasizing their combined potential in fostering robust outcomes. This presentation integrates Akwetey’s model for disaster risk reduction (ADRR) and the MCE to map logical pathways through practical applications, highlighting instances where collaborative evaluation enhances the efficacy of risk reduction measures. It is a compelling exploration that showcases both models’ collective impact on organizational resilience. Attendees will gain insights into optimizing risk reduction through strategic collaboration, fostering an enriched appreciation for the inherent interplay between these critical facets in achieving successful outcomes.
