Abstract

ClimateCandy, is a mobile game designed to tackle climate change, is changing the game with its innovative approach to takle climate action. ClimateCandy rewards players for taking actions that mitigate the impact of climate change, such as planting trees and removing CO2 from the air with retiring nature based removal carbon credits. The game has been successful, with over 100,000 downloads, and continues to engage a growing number of players in the fight against climate change. This presentation will discuss the innovative aspects of ClimateCandy and its impact on climate action, as well as the potential for gamification to drive change in other industries.
