Abstract
“We are windows, we are mirrors: pathways to creative justice” Art and music are mirrors that help us connect with ourselves. Seeing our own identities, experiences, and emotions reflected helps us understand that we are not alone and that our stories are shared stories. Art and music are also windows that help us connect with lives unlike our own. Through conversation, we will discuss civic actions using our platforms to foster gender equity, creative justice, placemaking, and belonging.
