Patterns in Mazu Culture: Symbolic Meaning and Expression in Contemporary Society

Abstract

Mazu culture is an essential part of Chinese traditional culture, and its patterns are widely inherited and used as cultural symbols. With the development of contemporary society, the symbolic meaning and expression of patterns in Mazu culture are constantly changing and evolving. This study explores the symbolic meaning and expression of patterns in Mazu culture in contemporary society to inherit and promote Mazu culture. This paper considers the connotation and extension of Mazu culture by analyzing the symbolic meaning and expression of patterns in Mazu culture and providing a theoretical reference for promoting the development and inheritance of Mazu culture. At the same time, the research results of this paper help enrich the diversity of social culture and improve people’s awareness and attention to traditional culture.
