Bad Art Club: Making Art Accessible

Abstract

Bad Art Club is an accessible space for new artists, non-artists, and those who enjoy creating can gather and make art based on the process of making art without focusing on the outcome being “good”. In the workshop, we run a short example of BAC which includes 3 components: research, guest artists, and accessible art making. We discuss our best practices and engage the audience in art making. We will also faciliate question and answer as well as audience participation in coming up with solutions to make art and art education more accessible.
