Climate Change Affect on Art Indicator

Abstract

This paper discusses the article “IACCA - Something to declare: a necessary dialogue between climate change and art” elaborated with a prospective approach that proposes the creation of three new tools to bring the arts, technologies, and the approach to climate change closer together. Firstly it creates the indicator that links the affectation of climate change in art through the IACCA (Indicador de Afectación del Cambio Climático en el Arte , in Spanish); secondly, the creation of a platform for registration (called #ThatWasArt), systematization, adaptation, dialogue, sequencing and algorithmic projection of the IACCA in art; and finally the development of a mobile application that allows the application of IACCA to any work of art, in order to instantly observe the projection of a work after its technical reproduction (photography, 3D projection, etc.) with the IACCA algorithm. The general objective is to generate a space for reflection, debate and exchange of knowledge on the subject from the exact sciences and humanities.
