Abstract
Death is an only undeniable reality of life. The life of Prophet Muhammad PBUH is ideal for Muslims. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH delivered a sermon at the ceremony of coronation of Hazrat Ali AS during traveling back from the first and last pilgrimage (Hajj) of his life at the place of Ghadeer. The choice of the place, arrangements for holding the ceremony, selection of time, adoption of occasion, and delivering of sermon for this ceremony are the most effective elements in the history of coronations. The specific manuscript culture of this sermon is discussed in this paper through its calligraphy and artistic presentation. The impacts of its manuscript are depicted and enhanced by the Muslim calligraphist and artists by using unique calligraphy and brush strokes. Analysis of calligraphic art to convey the originality of sermon’s wording, literary similes, phrases, and message are discussed.
