Abstract
Madhya Pradesh has a wide variety of sculptures related to Shiva philosophy. There are temples like Kendhariya Mahadeva of Khajuraho and Udaipur dedicated to Shiva. Various museums of Bhopal, Indore, Vidisha, Gwalior etc display a wide variety of Shiva Sculptures. During the reign of Parmara ruler Raja Bhoj, enormous work was done on Shiva philosophy. Through this paper, I analyse Shaivism in Madhya Pradesh and how it manifested in art.
