Abstract

The objective of this research study was to develop a learning model using augmented reality in a digital learning playground to develop information technology and communication skills for primary education students. The sample group used in the study consisted of five experts in producing learning materials in augmented realities and information technologies, selected by purposive sampling. For the research methodology, the researcher divided the operation of research for the development into two phases. The first phase was the design of a learning model using augmented reality in a digital learning playground. The second phase was the presentation of this model to the experts in producing learning materials in augmented realities and information technologies for evaluation; a form was used to evaluate the appropriateness of the model. The research results revealed that this learning model using augmented reality in a digital learning playground consisted of 4 steps which were 1) Input, 2) Process, 3) Output, and 4) Feedback. The results on the appropriateness of the model revealed that the appropriateness of the model was of a high level.
