Abstract

This paper considers methodological principles of cultural forms studying in cognitive cultural studies. It is an interdisciplinary direction which tends to integrate different scientific approaches in the sphere of cognitive processes studies asserting a definite role of culture in the process of cognition. The key point of contemporary cognitive researches is considered to be the cultural cognitive forms investigation in which word outlook senses are verified. From this point of view text as a cognitive form of culture is analyzed in text-centered concepts which influenced the whole humanitarian paradigm—in the concept of Mikhail Bahktin’s dialogism and Yuri Lotman’s informational-semiotic culture concept. The poststructuralist deconstructive practice of text studying in the Jacques Derrida’s and Roland Barthes’ concepts is also regarded. It is shown that culture-philosophical text problem studying gives an opportunity to clarify the world outlook foundation of thinking, culture and language interaction.
