Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to explore the implementation of Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) in the area of educational activities and research across two distinct groups (Anglo versus Southern Asian countries) and discuss the similarities and differences between business schools within both cultures. Utilizing the latest Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) reports on the PRME website, this study employed content analysis. Comparative educational activities and issues explored in the research were found in both cultural groups. Specifically, in advocating PRME, Anglo business schools relied more on curriculum transformation, while Southern Asia business schools favored more extracurricular activities. Anglo business schools’ research covers a broader range of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) than their Southern Asia counterparts. This finding enriches PRME-related discussions by bringing cultural context into the conversation.
