Abstract
The purpose of this study is to consider reflection, in its numerous forms, as an opportunity to enhance learning about architecture by deliberately connecting experience to provocative thought and action. Pairing a literature review with the author's experience teaching an international service learning course, the author examines how to support and evaluate reflective activities. Finally, the paper concludes with suggestions for future research on this topic.
