Abstract

As faculty and institutional vitality are essentially linked, rethinking faculty’s work and support for faculty development must become higher education’s strategic imperative (Gappa, Austin, and Trice 2007). Yet, there are few frameworks of inclusive governance and even fewer models for faculty development that address these new realities. New models are presented based on research of faculty engagement with change and innovation (Pawlyshyn 2013).
