Abstract

During this module, year 3 and 4 students (ages 8-10 years) investigate the natural disasters of cyclones, earthquakes and bushfires. They research how these disasters are caused and how they affect the natural environment and people. Students reflect on their actions in response to these disasters and identify practical ways to reduce the impact of disasters on the community, animals and the environment.
