Abstract

Teaching in a diverse and multicultural setting requires a reflective practitioner who is able to analyze and take appropriate actions to transform teaching and learning process as change agent towards humanization of education process. Participants in this course will engage in examining the schooling process and identify the contradictions that impact educational process by developing problem solving strategies, understanding and appreciating institutional, cultural and social dynamics of schooling, classroom effective measurement of teaching and learning and management through assessment, school reform and social justice, social group interactions, and individual role behaviors as reflected in his/her cultural identity and other in the society.
