Abstract
For decades, community projects have been well served by a methodology that emphasises the value of community participation and ‘home-grown’ solutions to local problems. Less attention has been paid to how the coverage and sequencing of individual initiatives can be most effectively blended in the interests of overall community strengthening. Theoretical and practice insights bearing on the achievement of this latter objective are the focal concerns of the present book.
