Abstract

Abstract: This study examined the satisfaction level of MA students in an English Language Teaching (ELT) program at a Thai public university. The data gathered from forty MA students using simple random sampling demonstrate four major factors influencing satisfaction of their study in the program. The most satisfactory dimensions were Curriculum, Instructors and Instruction, and Classrooms, respectively. The students were found to be the least satisfied with Course Evaluation, which they thought differed from what was shown in the course outline and objectives. Additionally, as demonstrated in the qualitative data, the support they received from the program staff was another key factor affecting their satisfaction. It is suggested that future studies incorporate personal factors into the questionnaire and interviews be employed to elicit interactive and authentic responses.
