Abstract

The Victims and Land Restitution Law constitutes the restoration and reparation component to the passive actors of the Colombian internal armed conflict. This article is the result of an investigation that attempts to analyze the crudeness of the war for territorial control that has caused incalculable damage to the country. This law recognizes human dignity and the rights of the individual and the family. However, it is important to stress that without a proper approach, it can fall into oblivion like so many laws in Colombia.
