Abstract

This Learning Module provides rubrics and a project for writing arguments. The rubrics are designed to be accessible to students in Scholar, translating the standards outlined in CCSS, PARCC, Smarter Balanced, STAAR, and 6 +1 Traits. The rubrics focus on formative assessment (prospective and constructive), rather than summative assessment (retrospective and judgmental).
