Abstract
Flipping the classroom has been in the education news and can be effective for engaging students at a higher level. The author presents information on what flipping the classroom is, the basic foundations upon which this concept is based, the constructs necessary to consider, some strategies that have been found useful when using the flipped approach, concerns about technology and her personal experience to date with flipping the university classroom.
