Abstract

The main objectives of this research were the design and evaluation of an intervention for education in intercultural values through music. To do this, a quasi-experimental methodological design of a single group differentiated into three phases has been used—phase 1: descriptive study; phase 2: to study the influence of an intervention proposal on the intercultural values; and phase 3: comparative study. The research has been developed with a selection of N = 113 students, who belong to different institutions in Melilla and different religious communities. A questionnaire was used before and after the presentation of the intervention that meets the psychometric requirements of validity and reliability. The results revealed that, by applying the intervention proposal, the sample acquired a higher intercultural value than at the beginning, and significantly improved the value of tolerance and ecology.
