Abstract

This learning module allows teachers to identify, assess, and work to become comfortable with the changing roles in the New Learning "classroom" that is present in CG Scholar. Unlike other learning platforms, CG Scholar embodies all of the "seven affordances" created by Drs. Cope and Kalantzis and puts them to work in myriad ways. The ideas, interviews, and activities in this learning module encourage a deep analysis of one's own pedagogy and a retooling of the approach one takes while developing modules of learning and architecting a learning community rather than simply a classroom.
