Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop a STEAM digital storytelling model to create a digital economy innovation for art education; to evaluate the developed model; and to study the results of the implemented model. The research process was divided into three phases. The first phase was to develop a STEAM digital storytelling model to create a digital economy innovation for art education. The second phase was to evaluate the developed model. The third phase was to implement the developed model. The sample consisted of nine specialists and twenty-five students selected by purposive sampling. The statistics used in the study were the arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The research results demonstrated that the model consists of three elements: the model components, the STEAM digital storytelling learning process, and an evaluation of the digital economy. The findings also demonstrated that all nine specialists agreed that the developed model was at the highest appropriate level (xˉ = 4.61, SD = .56). The results of the evaluation of the student sample work quality by using a scoring rubric was that it was very good.
